CHRISTUS LOUISIANA AQUATICS CLUB
CHRISTUS Louisiana Aquatics Club offers training and practice groups for swimmers 5 years and older and all ability levels. Our goal is to offer age-specific training that challenges each individual and helps develop them to the best of their ability.

CHRISTUS LOUISIANA AQUATICS CLUB GROUP INFORMATION:
Entry level group. Swimmers are encouraged to attend 1-2 meets a year. Athletes can advance to the Silver Group.
Equipment requirements: fins, goggles, cap for girls
WHITE group coaches: Hannah Carter, Hollin Spencer
Practice Schedule: 3:45 -4:30 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Athletes focus on learning four legal competitive strokes, having fun, and perfecting start and turn technique. Swim meet attendance is encouraged. Athletes can advance to the Gold Group.
Equipment requirements: fins, paddles, mesh bag
SILVER group coach: Angie Carter
Practice Schedule: 3:45-4:30 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 3:45-4:30 p.m.
Athletes in this group are usually at least 11 years old and are exposed to a higher-level of swim training for the first time. Competing at swim meets once a month is highly encouraged.
Equipment requirements: fins, paddles, mesh bag, buoy, kick board (optional)
GOLD Group Coaches: Angie Carter & Hollin Spencer
Practice Schedule: 3:45-4:30 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Athletes entering this group must display a desire to begin training on a more committed basis (regular attendance is expected). Competition at swim meets is expected in this group. Training takes precedence over technique work for the first time in the athletes development.
Equipment Requirements: fins, mesh bag, paddles, buoy, board, snorkel
ORANGE Group Coach: Angie Carter
Practice Schedule: 4:30-6:30 p.m., Monday; 4:30-6:00 p.m., Tuesday; 4:30-6:00 p.m., Wednesday; 4:30-6:30 p.m., Thursday; 7-9:30 a.m., Saturday
Athletes entering the PURPLE group must display a strong desire to perform at the highest level of competition. Training is geared towards individual talents, and a strong aerobic endurance must be present. Practice and meet attendance is mandatory. Dry land and introduction to strength training is an important component to training at this level.
